John Kim is a financial economist whose research interests span asset pricing and information economics. He applies a variety of empirical methods to understand the consequences of various frictions, in particular parameter uncertainty and rational inattention, in markets with micro-level heterogeneity, especially the mutual fund industry. Prior to joining Emory, John graduated from a PhD in Economics from Princeton University.
