Prasenjit Chakrabarti is a faculty member of the Finance area at the Indian Institute of Management Ranchi. He completed his doctoral work in finance at the Indian Institute of Management Indore. He was a visiting research scholar at Deakin Business School, Australia. Before joining academics, he worked for seven years in the industry, for PwC consulting practices and IBM. Chakrabarti has contributed to several refereed international publications. His primary research interest is in the financial sector, its regulation, and policy. He has been actively voicing his opinion in major financial dailies and newspapers. He earned his B.Tech. and B.Sc. (Physics) from Jadavpur University.
