Varun Jindal is an Assistant Professor in the Finance & Accounting area at the Indian Institute of Management Bangalore. He holds a PhD in Finance and Control from the Indian Institute of Management Calcutta. Prior to pursuing PhD, he has served in the industry for close to 6 years in various roles. His papers have been published in the Journal of Corporate Finance and International Business Review. He has also co-authored a case for IIM Calcutta Case Research Center. He has presented his research work at several leading international and national conferences. His primary research interest is in the area of empirical corporate finance.
