Bikramaditya Datta is an Assistant Professor of Economics at IIT Kanpur. He received his Ph.D. in Economics from Columbia University in 2018. Previously he has received a B.S. in Economics from Presidency College, University of Calcutta and a M.S. in Quantitative Economics from the Indian Statistical Institute. His research interests lie in game theory and mathematical finance. His recent research includes investigations into agency problems in financial contracts related to experimentation, frictions in insurance markets and cryptocurrencies.
