
Vimal Balasubramaniam is an Associate Professor of Finance and Economics at Queen Mary University of London. He holds a PhD in Financial Economics from the University of Oxford, a Masters in Public Policy from the National University of Singapore and a B.A. in Economics from the University of Madras. His primary interests are in household finance, empirical asset pricing, real estate and behavioural finance. He is currently working on questions related to Indian real estate, U.K. housing market, and the role of technology in retail financial markets.
